Anna Bartus

Medical Writer

London

Anna received her medical degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary, and completed her internship in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry and Ob/Gyn. During her studies, Anna wrote several articles about her own research on phenylketonuria. In addition,  she worked as a freelance medical writer for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Celgene, and Baxter, focusing on hemato-oncology and writing scripts, web content and conference materials. This introduction to medical writing ignited her interest in pursuing a career in medical communications. Therefore, following the completion of her medical registration in Hungary, Anna moved to the UK and, after some London-based freelance medical writing, took up the full-time position of Medical Writer. Anna works as the Managing Editor of the GvHD Hub while also writing and researching for the Multiple Myeloma Hub, the Lymphoma Hub, and the AML Global Portal.
